Dark Power Soul Savers Book 4 eBook Kristie Cook
Power was an intense ride almost from the start. It picks up a few months after the end of Devotion and slowly picks up speed. It didn't take long for the first twist to be known. From that point on it was just action all the way. There was another twist, towards the end, and it wasn't a good one, it kind of took my breath away. Saying that though, something manifests, which then makes you think twice about that last twist. You'll have to read it to find out. I don't do spoilers. All in all, this book was awesome, for me the best one yet. Full of intrigue, mayhem and the intense power of love and self discovery. It's amazing the power the mind has. You won't be disappointed in this book. I hope the next one is just as good.

Dark Power Soul Savers Book 4 eBook Kristie Cook Reviews
This was another good installment of the Soul Savers series. It has been quite a while since I read the last book, but I was able to figure out what was going on pretty quickly and get right back into the story.
My biggest problem with this series is that it makes huge time jumps. This one wasn't as bad as some of the others, but it still would skip weeks and months at a time. It makes me feel like I missed something when that much time elapses.
Despite this, I will definitely be continuing with this series. The final chapter leaves you feeling like everything is going to be ok, and then you read the epilogue and it's like a punch to the gut. Seriously that was an awful cliffhanger. Now I can't wait for the next book.
4.5/5 Stars
Power is another great book in the Soul Savers series. Alexis has her family with her and she is preparing for the next phase in her live. There are pressing matters - like finding her pendant, saving the Amadis and preparing herself for the ultimate battle ahead. Alexis is all grown up, but sometimes she can still be a little childish which can become annoying. I have missed Owen in the first few chapters of Power. To me he was one of the most lovable characters since the first book. The fight scenes are very realistic and keep you on the edge of you seat. And watch out for a few interesting surprises towards the end of the book. I mean come on - I never saw that coming!!! Luckily the countdown has begun for the next installment!!
When I got my kindle as a present about 2 years ago, Genesis and Promise was the first books I ever downloaded and since then Kirstie Cook became one of my favorite authors. As long as she keeps the Soul Savers series alive and interesting - I'll keep reading.
Power comes in at a close second (with Promise as my first) favorite book of the series thus far. Wow! The plot was gripping, with interesting (although some not completely surprising) twists, packed with action and emotional ups and downs. Alexis's annoying insecurities from Devotion has toned down some, possibly because she's stepping further into her destiny, and has me wholeheartedly rooting for her again. I found my heart breaking as her and Tristan's love was tried... again. I furrowed my eyebrows more than once as I tried to figure out the little clues the author plants throughout the book before the entire story unfolded. And by the end of the book, I was in tears as my heart dropped into the pit of my stomach with the turn of the last page. I love the new character developments in this book and am eager to pick up the next book. My only recommendation would be is to read the prequel Genesis before you read Power; there are several references to the backstory explained in Genesis that would confusing if you weren't familiar with the origins of the Amadis and Daemoni. Okay, enough reviewing. Time to download book #5 of this addicting series.
I read the first three and hope that it would get better with the fourth. To my surprise it hasn't. Certain areas is predictable and other areas it's just frustrating. It gets me upset to have the heroine of this story being such a wimp and then she has super power. Either she has power or she doesn't. Makeup your mind. I could see in the beginning when everything was just happening, but now NO. I'm now regretting buying this series. The author is definitely not like Christine Feehan, Lynsay Sands, Keri Arthur, Anne Rice, etc. These are the authors I enjoy. Sorry, too frustrated to recommend this series. It's taking me a long time just to read the book due to the stupidity of the characters. In the book of the Power she meets face to face with her father, who informed her indirectly how to break the curse and in the Wrath she still worrying what and how to break the curse. Hello, who's not paying attention. How stupid can this heroine be. I'm not happy with this series, I think she could do better.
Frustrated in New York!!!!!
Without giving anything away the Vanessa angle has certainly upped the interest ante in this continuation of the SoulSaversSeries by Kristie Cook. Again I can't quite bring myself to give it a 5 rating as I did the first couple of books. Although good reading the action is so slow and quite silly at times with too many mind games being played by the bad guys. Let's face it, that amount of evil would just go boom and that would be the end of it, and the end of the series as well and I am enjoying the series but...? There is a air of trying too hard here as with the previous book, that the emphasis is on stretching everything out so that more books can follow, and a little tightening up of the plot would not go astray instead as it would keep believability alive. I said this in the last review as well but then a lot of others disagree and I will continue to read the series but the difference is that unlike other series I have no hurry for the next one in this series, and maybe I am one voice but that doesn't mean I am necessarily wrong. Let's see how the next one pans out.
